You are receiving this email as we have identified you as a Producer selling into Germany and/or France marketplaces, impacted by Extended Producer Responsibility(EPR) regulations. Extended Producer Responsibility(EPR) is an environmental policy that makes a producer responsible for the entire life-cycle of the products that they introduce on the market, from their design until the end of life (including waste collection and treatment).

Starting in 2022, if you sell in France and/or Germany, Amazon will be obliged to confirm that you are (EPR)compliant in the country you sell. Amazon will therefore collect and validate your EPR registration number. Amazon has created a dedicated Help Page where you will find detailed information on the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirement and on how to prepare for this regulation. If you have not already done so, we recommend you review the above help page and take appropriate steps to ensure your products meet the EPR requirements.

What--EPR到底是什么？
EPR，全称为Extended Producer Responsibility 生产者责任延伸，其目的是防止电气设备的浪费，或通过重复使用和回收利用来减少浪费。

只有德国和法国才有EPR吗？
并不是。绝大多数的欧洲国家，不止欧盟成员国，一直以来都有相应的法规法案管控EPR。之所以EPR近期备受关注，是因为亚马逊强制所有的德国站和法国站的卖家都必须要提供EPR注册号。

EPR是指针对某一类产品吗？
并不是。EPR只是个统称，它涉及到多个产品类别，比如针对电子电气类的WEEE注册，针对电池的电池法，针对包材的包装法。为了全面实施EPR，欧盟对于相应类别设立了相关指令，每个国家也相应成立了国家法律。
